No, matter cannot create consciousness, it can facilitate it. It’s the rules of interaction between the basic elements that counts, not the elements themselves. So yes, consciousness another metalevel of reality, but it definately requires matter as a framework and base. This is called emergence, the appearance of an unexpected metalevel from complex interactions in a lower metalevel.
And matter is not a solid entity , its an illusion just like time and space
And in the end there is not even a thing called matter
Like painting needs a paper and paint , both.One without the other does not make a picture.
@trisky1234 The way hallucinations appear to work is when the blister in space-time that consciousness is theorized to exist in is expanded via the hydrophobic properties of the psychedelic molecule on the cytoskeletal microtubules in neurons, as far as I know the only way they interact with the brain (at least LSD and Psilocin). The exact opposite happens under anesthetic. Take from that what you want.
